Dr Senthil Kumaar
FRACGP, MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG, MRCS, DFSRH, MS (GENERAL SURGERY), DIPLOMA DERMATOLOGY
Dr Senthil Kumaar is an experienced Skin Cancer Doctor with a strong background in dermatology, skin cancer medicine, and minor surgical procedures. He completed his medical degree in 1997 and went on to train in general surgery before expanding his practice in the UK, where he earned a Diploma in Dermatology from St Barts Hospital, London.
After moving to Canberra in 2017, Dr Kumaar has worked as a full-time GP with a dedicated focus on skin cancer detection, treatment, and long-term patient care. He uses advanced diagnostic tools, including DermEngine and Total Body Photography, to ensure precise monitoring of skin lesions. Fluent in both English and Tamil, he is known for his thorough approach, clear communication, and patient-centred care.
